An hour and a half marathon meeting on running the hospital went on:

hospital

Seeing the negative impact of internal politics and tussles on health services, the health commissioner scolded the officials, prepared to fire the negligent ones. The super specialty hospital building constructed at a cost of Rs.200 crores is gathering dust on the occasion of its inauguration with the aim of increasing the health facilities of the citizens in the hospital campus.

After the construction of the building, the completed hospital could not be used for more than 6 months due to administrative procedures like staff training and recruitment after the code of conduct during the Lok Sabha election period and then the installation of medical equipment in the new building. Amidst this situation today, Union Minister Nimuben Bambhania, Health Commissioner Harshad Patel and local MLAs and leaders visited the super specialty hospital and took pictures but could not clarify when the hospital will be available for public use.

After visiting the hospital, an hour and a half long meeting was held at the Medical College in the presence of Union Minister and Health Commissioner and Bhavnagar MLAs and other dignitaries and officials for the roadmap to implement the super specialty hospital in which Sir T. All the officials of the hospital and district health department were present.

In the meeting, the roadmap for starting a super specialty hospital and the issues facing it were discussed in detail with the heads of each department. The important thing is that the issue of water leakage after rain in the operation theater on the 7th floor of the super specialty hospital building was also raised in this meeting.

The incident of water leakage from the newly constructed building has also raised many questions against the quality of the building. Along with this, Sir T in the meeting. The Health Commissioner expressed his deep displeasure at the internal politics of the hospital and the negative impact on the health service of the tyranny and reprimanded the officials and was also prepared to fire the malpractice officers.

Apart from this, the complaint and presentation made by the nursing staff regarding the harassment of the nursing staff by the Assistant Nursing Superintendent was also discussed in this meeting. Also, in this meeting, in the next 15 days, the departments will be shifted in a phased manner and by Navratri, the Lokarpan Super Specialty Hospital requires specialist doctors from each branch (pathologist).

There is a shortage of doctors in government hospitals as the salary scale of government doctors is very low compared to the salary scale and facilities of specialist doctors in private hospitals. There is a discussion that even for the super specialty hospital of Bhavnagar, there are not enough expert doctors, it is a big challenge for the health system to start a hospital even in the midst of all these conditions.

It is known that a decision has been taken at the primary level to do this. If, the discussion based on this meeting is put into implementation, then the possibility of the Norte Super Specialty Hospital being opened for the use of the public first cannot be ruled out. But, till now there has been no official announcement regarding the launch by the government, health department or hospital system on this issue. It is also worth mentioning here.
